after a DMO migration from BW 7.00 oracle to bw 7.40 SP10 powered by HANA we get the error
Message No. DBMAN305
when we try to access/display data from virtual infoprovider used by PBS NLS ADK addon.
No further information are available in developer traces.
Any toughts?

Hi Gurus, I need to know few things about Migration to BW on HANA.
Currently our system is running on BW 7.0 and we are planing to migrate to HANA DB with BW version 7.4.
I need to know if all the BW objects would be readily available in HANA Studios after migration? If Yes, under which Schema?
If Not, what needs to be done to get all the providers in HANA Studios?

We have replicated the table from SAP R/3 system through SLT And based on the table we have created analytical view.
This Analytical view consumed in virtual provider but the data is not reflecting in virtual provider.

After running RSMIGRHANADB on our cubes all the related multiProviders where deactivated..
Is it O.K?
Is there a way to activate the multiProviders throw RSMIGRHANADB? without the need to activate it separately?

When we move data form a DSO the data is moved out of Active table. In case if we have scenario where the data is picked from Change log, and I move data out from “A” dso to NLS DB(active table). When I bring back this data how will the change log behave?

I am trying to create a Open ODS view on HANA Studio using BW modeling tools. Source of this OODS is HANA table.
While checking I am not getting any errors, but while activating I am getting the below errors.
column store error: fail to create scenario: column store error: fail to create scenario: EC:2048"column store error: fail to create scenario: [2950] user is not authorized" Error 2.048 has occurred in the BWA/SAP HANA server Error in BW ODS View Error when activating Open ODS View Unable to create CalculationScenario
It says user is not authorized. I have full access levels in my BW system. not sure which authorizations are missing. Any specific authorizations needs to be added in HANA Studio? I am using the admin authorizations in HANA Studio too..

I need to create Export DataSources on some InfoOjbject Master Data. I know there is an option "Characteristic is Export DataSource", but would like to create the Export DataSource without changing the InfoObject Settings. When I right-click the InfoObject to create the Export DataSource it just returns saying it was created, but the Export DataSource is nowhere to be found.
Is this because the InfoObject is not flagged as an InfoProvider? (I don't think so)
My Goal is to create the InfoObject Export DataSource without having to change the actual infoobject settings and be able to just transport the Export DataSource. This way I can just send the new Export DataSource Objects and avoid having to resend the InfoObjects in Transport.
Is this possible?

I have a COST_CENTER table at HANADB(OLTP). This table - COST_CENTER , contains a column, named PARENT_ID, and it contains parent ID of the key column ID.
What I am able to do:

- Able to create an attribute view on COST_CENTER table at HANADB.
- Create an InfoObject at BW side and this is created on top of COST_CENTER attribute view.
- I am able to view the COST_CENTER data at BW through the InfoObject. I am able to see PARENT_ID column data as well.
What I want to do:

I have created a DIM_COSTCENTER dimension using BPC's web front end. This is created as an InfoObject at BW's end. Here, I need to see the COST_CENTER table's data that is available through an attribute view(created on top of COST_CENTER ).
i.e. I need to see data, including hierarchy, at the DIM_COSTCENTER. The data for this has to come from the attribute view, created on top of the COST_CENTER OLTP table.
How can I do that? I am able to load the ID and DESC data thru data manager package thru EPM add-in. However, I do not know how to load the hierarchy. As the PARENT_ID is just another column having some data(as far as OLTP/HANADB is concerned), I do not know how this column will be treated at BPC side.
Would appreciate any help on this. It seems to be very straight forward, however, I am not able to get it done. Not sure if I miss anything here.

I am trying to create an ODS View based on "Virtual table via HANA Smart Data Access" but as soon as I select this option, system gets hang. I have tried with other type like BW, Database Table or View, it is working fine for them. This issue is coming only with HANA SDA.

we were importing ADSO from BW 7.5 SP0 to BW 7.5 SP2 and ADSO not getting activated on its own as per below error log in TR, Any idea if we have list of NOtes or any known issue around this-

Need to know if there're best practices, tips or procedures in order to create efficient queries on a HANA Database containing BW cubes, where the information needed is huge and response time on a dashboard or report must be fast.

we have a unique requirement, where we need to load Transnational data to Master data info object. Since ACR/Activation of master data is no longer required in HANA system, would there be any impact in loading the transnational data with huge volumes(approx 2 Million records a year) increasing across time.

We are migrating objects from a Regional BW system (7.3 on DB2) to a Global BW system (7.4 on HANA). After migrating the DSO's to the Global system, the request is to convert all the write optimized DSO's to standard DSO's.
Please suggest if there will be notable benefits (in terms of performance)/disadvantages or risks in converting write optimized to standard DSO's in BW on HANA.
