Hi Experts,

 

Please help me to solve a strange issue that we are facing in our prod system. One of our DTP (master data) is failing almost on regular basis at a particular time. This DTP used to run 3 times a day. And we are facing the issue in a particular time, other two run complete every time with success. Data is loading from PSA to InfoObject. Below is the ERROR msg we are getting:

 

Data package 23 / 05/21/2015 06:39:11 / Status 'Processed with Errors'

Message no. RSBK257

Dump: Internal session terminated with a runtime e rror MESSAGE_TYPE_X (see ST22) Data Package 000021

Message no. RSAR051

 

I have attached the dump file. Hope it may helpful. Please help us to understand the background of such strange behavior of system.

Issue with BEx report built on Composite Provider

Hello everyone,

 

     I have created a composite Provider, lets say CP01.  This has 1 DSO in Union and 5 DSO's as Left Outer Join.

now I have a report on this composite provider, where I have 2 RKF's. 1 RKF gets all the data from Union DSO and Other RKF gets all the data from One of the join DSO.  Now the issue is when ever i do some characteristic restriction on 1st RKF with field coming from Union DSO, my 2nd RKF is being affected, though it do not have any restriction based on Union DSO.

 

Could anyone please help me in understanding what is happening and why is this happening ?

Mass Maintenance setting - "Read Near Line Storage" for Bex Queries

Hello

 

we are implementing NLS using Sybase IQ. one thing i noticed was, we have to enable the option "Read Near Line Storage" on each and every query.

 

checking to see if there is a quick way ( Mass Maintenance) to enable this setting across all queries? I did not find any option in RSRT

 

(Please note-  I know I can use "Use NLS according to Info provider setting")

Max No of Columns in Open Hub Destination

I wan to know the limitation of number of rows & Columns for OHD output when I use the below as my source.

 

Be1.Bex as source – Max rows & Columns we can export.


2.MP/Cube as source –Limitation of no of columns we can have and row.

PSA table /BIC/B0000122000 is not partitioned

Hello all .

 

When transporting the datasources from DEV to QA  getting below error .

 

PSA table /BIC/B0000122000 is not partitioned

Error when activating DataSource 0FI_GL_12 QECCLNT100.

 

I have tried below options but does not work .

 

1. In QA system tried to activate the datasource using the Program but it also giving the same error .

2.tried with RSRV , correct the error . it also didn't work.

3.using SE14 activate and adjust the table and delete and create the table . these 2 options also tried . but did not work .

 

 

Could you share your suggestions to resolve this problem . Thanks in Advance

Error while displaying data from a composite provider

Hi,

 

We face the following error while trying to display data from a composite provider:

 

"Internal error during instantiating calculation model;QueryId: 00O2TQLMSM880A6B3QX7OQ6J1:TEST

Error 34,023 has occurred in the SAP HANA/BWA server

Error reading the data of InfoProvider @3ZCPTEST$X"

 

We removed all the infoproviders from the composite provider.  If we include a cube in the composite provider, we face the above error.  The composite provider doesn't have any complex joins/logics.  For testing purpose, we just brought only one field and tested the result, even there we are facing the error.

 

Request you to please help me to resolve the issue.

Displaying 12 months in BEx query even though record is not present

Hi Experts,

 

I am having an issue with displaying all the months of a year as for the months on which I am having records are only displayed in the report. I want a report where the months on which I don't have any record should be replaced with 0. Kindly suggest. Please find the below image (I am getting the first table as my output but I want to generate the report based on the second table):

Why I can't connect to my BW on HANA system in HANA Studio?

    I am using BWMT to do exercise, I have 8 connections in SAP Logon, when I want to connect to the system "BW on HANA", I found I even can't see it in HANA studio connection selection list, please refer to the attachments for details.

    Is there any one who can help me?

Facing a issue with Analyser Filters in BW on HANA

Hello ALL,\

 

We are facing an issue with Filters in Analyser in Bw/HANA environment. Need your help.

 

We had some filters in Analyser which doesn't seems to be working in BW on HANA

For certain cases, we are not getting expected results after applied the filters and

in some other case, we get the following error:

Multi provider schema is not consistent. calc engine search on olap

index failed

Error 2,920 occurred in SAP HANA/BWA server.

 

IS this a bug or somebody have a solution.

BEx Query to calculate Individual's experience

Hi Experts,

 

I want to generate a report whereby I want to calculate the experience of respective individual using BEx query designer. I have 4 InfoObjects with me namely:

 

EMP_NO,

JOIN_DATE (mapped to 0CALMONTH) during transformation,

END_DATE (mapped to 0CALDAY) during transformation and

EXPR (key figure IO) to hold the employee experience.

 

Can someone suggest me how can I calculate the experience of individuals based on the multiple JOIN_DATE's and END_DATE's that they are having? I have to consider first JOIN_DATE and last END_DATE and divide it by 365 to get the experience. In-case the employee left the organization his END_DATE is less than CURRENT DATE. On the other hand, for existing employees the END_DATE is by default 31.12.9999 which we have to convert to CURRENT DATE.

 

I will be grateful if somebody can suggest me the detailed steps to solve the above mentioned requirement.

How to convert a character to numc

Hello all

 

In my target i have a field name X  of NUMC type which is mapped to source field Y of NUMC type.

 

I need to pass a condition in the transformation rule via routine.

 

The condition is such:

IF field X has value 01 or 03 or 06

THEN field Y = field X  

     ELSE field Y = A

 

The problem is that A is a character and how to save A in field Y which is of NUMC type?

 

Please help me out if anyone know the solution.

ODP Datasources on non-BW on HANA systems

Hi All,

I am looking at an architecture where a BW (7.31 SP15) on legacy DB will derive data from a separate native HANA system.

The current plan it seems to have ODP datasources to pull data from the HANA views into BW (on a non HANA DB).

I have never worked on a BW 7.3/7.4 without HANA so am concerned if the ODP is a HANA exclusive feature.

 

Can you please let me know of your experience on this?

Also, can you suggest better alternatives if possible?

 

Overall architecture is ( 2 ECCs ) ---> BW currently.

Proposed  2ECCs -->SLT--> HANA --> ODP --> BW (on non-HANA 7.31 SP15)

 

Note: BW will not be moved to HANA in the near future.. data might be required for planning and thus needs to be pushed there for now from native HANA.

Hello guys,

 

Am new in the SAP BW actually in my source i have an infoObject X of type DATS(YYYYMMDD) and i have 0FISCPER, 0FISCPER3, 0FISCYEAR in my target.

 

i need to derive 0FISCPER, 0FISCPER3, 0FISCYEAR from infoObject X

 

using Formula there is date function:

 

for 0FISCPER --> DATE_FISCPER( , )

 

for 0FISCPER3 --> DATE_FISCPER3( , )

 

and for 0FISCYEAR --> DATE_FISCYEAR( , )

 

what parameters should i used in the function?

 

DATE_FISCPER(?? ,?? )


OR is there any function to use in the routine for the conversion.Any example of it?


Please help me anyone.
